Dark and creepy. This was an interesting book to read on the heels of "Brave New World" since they have such similar themes. But where BNW was obviously satire and almost light-hearted by comparison, this book seemed too close for comfort in many respects. It's brilliant and clever, and I'm glad I read it, although I wouldn't say I enjoyed it.
