The foundation is my first sci-fi book, that I have ever read. I was afraid that It will be full of boring descriptions (e.g. descriptions of a world, technologies, space fights and so on). I was pleased, that a plot is mainly described by dialogues. Asimov had an interesting idea, that a main character should be population of the whole galaxy instead of a single person.
