"One person can make a difference."

People are always saying how one person can make a difference. It is hard to accomplish but it is possible. A is born into a different body every day and he has an option to interfere in their lives. A's policy of non-interference is broken the day he meets Rhiannon. Soon A falls in love with Rhiannon and he wants to be with her every day.

Initial reaction: David Levithan's "Every Day" is a fascinating take on a rather interesting "what if" - what if you woke up each day in an entirely different body, with only a limited amount of time to live each individual life? That's the confounding factor that "A" has to face each day, and to make matters more complex, "A" is in love with a girl encountered during one of the transferals. I have no idea what I would do if I was A...if I had to live my life as someone else every single day. However, this is an awesome concept for a story, and David Levithan is now one of my favorites, can't wait to get my hands on the second book in this series. ...more

A unique read for me. I wasn't exactly hooked or anything so I guess it's safe to say that it's just an okay book for me. I liked A though. He was as human as someone like him could get. The ending was a bit weird for me since it was open ended for some reason. I guess there's going to be a sequel or somethin ...more

I can't even begin to explain how this book captivated and intrigued me in more ways than one. I doubted the book's premise at first but then realized as I was reading that it works. It did work because the story was placed and enunciated in the most capable of hands. Flawless. Poignant. Brilliant. ...more
