the plot, the story, the characters and everything in this book wuz unique!! i totally enjoyed it, and i think its way better than the hunger games series! i found myself getting attached to the characters so easily, unlike some other characters that takes you to read five chapters to finally feel what they're feeling.it wuz action packed with all kinds of twists that lead to surprises coming bam bam bam after each other!! i enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the very last pages of ...more

Ich habe dieses Buch innerhalb von nur wenigen Tagen geradezu verschlungen und nun kann ich nur sagen, dass ein neues Lieblingsbuch den Weg in mein großes Herz für Bücher gefunden hat. 4,5 out of 5. ARGH! Akhirnya bisa baca Divergent yang udah digembar-gemborin orang sekian lama. Akhirnya punya Divergent di lemari buku sendiri, bukan cuma mupeng ngeliat bookshelf tour orang lain!

I'm grateful that I got this book for free, because I would have been pissed if I had paid for it.

What little world building there is just riffs off of obvious YA and dystopian cliches, adding nothing unique to the conversation. Even the groups themselves sounded more like tired derivatives of the Harry Potter houses, rather than anything new.

Of course, the characters themselves are equally one dimensional, so I suppose it makes sense that the Factions operate on the assumption that a human b ...more
