I can’t express how much I loved this book. Character, world-building, setting, plotting-all is here that I expect and yearn for when I read a dystopian novel. Best yet, this is the first of a series and at least two more are projected! Veronica Roth achieves the goals that all authors of Dystopian aim for, but not all can meet.

OH. My. Freaking. God.
I HAVE NO WORDS.
I loved EVERYTHING about this book. EVERYTHING. You should have seen me with my face on the floor going, "He...did...WHAT??!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED HE DID NOT JUST DO THAT!"
Yes. I am not kidding, that is a true story. Now imagine my mother coming in at that exact moment...

WOW. This book was breath taking. I have gone through so many emotions while reading this book. Anger, sadness, fear, happiness. I been hearing about this series for the past year, but haven’t had a chance to check it out. Now I see why so many are talking about this series. It was the best book that I read this year. I read quite few dystopian novels in the past couple years but Divergent is my favorite. I enjoyed it more than the hunger games. This one seemed to be action packed, right from the beginning. Roth knows how to suck you into the story. When I read the storyline, I wasn’t sure if I like it, and now I am glad that I gave it a chance. There wasn’t anything in this novel that I didn’t like.

Tris & Four: I did not see their relationship coming, not at first. I could tell that Tris was attracted to him from beginning, just by the way she acted when she was around him. Now, Four I didn’t think that he felt the same about her, to me it felt like he wasn’t her biggest fan. As book progressed, I could tell that he cared her, way that she cared about him. I loved their relationship, at times it felt sort of like hate love sort of relationship. I knew it was only because he was instructor, and in way he was protecting her because if everyone knew that there was something between them, they would assume he is favored her. More books progressed, I could tell that their feelings increased for one another, because of how they wanted protect each other. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them next.

I loved how action packed this novel was. There wasn’t a page where there wasn’t something going on. I loved the initiation process, to see what tasks they will have to face, and what they are willing to do, to get ahead. It’s one of reasons I dislike Peter, not only his attitude but that he go as far, as to kill someone. I kind of hoped that he would be one of people who get cut towards end. Even if this was a fantasy novel, it felt real to me. All the emotions that they were going through, especially when they were under hallucinations. Roth described everything so well; I saw everything as if it was happening in front of me.

A breath taking novel, I can’t wait till the movie comes out. If you love dystopian, adventure with romance in the mix, this is book for you. You will be hooked till the end, and even then you be craving for more.

an ordinary dystopian story, that made me sleepless for at least 2 weeks, Beatrice showed her bravery during the initiation of the Dauntless transfers and the Dauntless born. she soon realizes that there is an upcoming war between the Abnegation and the Dauntless, and together with Caleb and Tobias made a way to stop the war.

The story is more of the initiation of tris and other initiates for the dauntless born and transfers and and their ranks.
