This books is seriously addictive. I finished it in under 48 hours. It has serious just-one-more-chapter syndrome going on. For example, I had no plans on finishing this book last night. Was going to stop around page 350, but just-one-more-chapter continued until the whole thing was done.
For one thing, this book is so well written. I am amazed that a 23 year old (younger at the time of writing I guess) wrote this amazing book. The characters are completely lovable. Even the "bad guys" have somet ...more

This is my 3rd time reading this now and everytime I've read it I've liked it more and more.
The first time I read it was when it first came out and I only gave it 3 stars, the second 4 and now the third 5!
So yes as the rating states I loved it! (to be honest I can't really remember reading it before) but now it has become one of my faves!
It's really good, and completely different to anything I've read before!
So it's really unique and original!
The concept of it all is really cute, how family ...more

This book was amazing! I don't want to give anything away, but I loved Beatrice! She's an amazing protagonist! The storyline is fast paced. The writing is well done. I got through the book in 4 days. Divergent is fast-paced, has a strong and amazing narrator. I just love this book! If you haven't read this book then you should. The whole story is amazing and so is Veronica Roth for coming up with this novel.

Divergent is the only other dystopian novel I've read besides Hunger Games. And if you liked Hunger Games, this is a book just for you!
Divergent is set in a setting wherein the citizens of the society are classified according to what kind of life they choose to lead. They are divided into five different factions with each faction dedicated to a certain trait which they believe is the key towards achieving progress and preventing another war.

I just finished this book a few hours ago, and I'm scrounging the internet for the next one! I loved this story, and not just because I'm a huge dystopian fan to begin with. This book really made you think, about your own morals and beliefs, much like Tris had to. It was the ultimate 'What would you do?" scenario on every page. Besides that I loved the relationship between Tris and Four. They were a beautiful pairing, just facing the world together. I've been sneaking down every once in a while
