I love a time traveling story that's not so science fiction.

Encore un excellent roman de cet auteur, qui mélange uchronie, voyage dans le temps et Histoire, ce qui est susceptible de plaire à des lecteurs qui n'étaient pas forcément attirés par Stephen King habituellement. Et comme il est un conteur hors pair, j'ai été entrainée dans le récit et je ne voulais plus le quitter !

Oh man, this was sooooo good! Like all long Stephen King novels, I would look at this and then put it aside for a shorter read and say I will read this later. But thanks to a friend posting about how good this was, I decided I should finally give it a read. And I was totally hooked from the beginning. When we are first introduced to Jake, he is a high school English teacher who also teaches an adult learning class for supplemental income. We catch a glimpse of one of his student's vivid memories

I don't make it a point to read everything SK writes, so I can't compare this to any of his more popular books (i.e. Shining, The Stand, It, etc), but this is my favorite of his novels that I have read and one of my favorites reads this year. I really didn't know what to expect, the plot synopsis was unlike anything I had come to expect from Stephen King. I think that might be why I chose to try it.
