What Members Thought

Alex Stern isn't like the other freshmen at Yale. She never even applied. But she's been brought there for a reason, and she soon finds herself admitted to the inner sanctums of the university's secret societies. Skull and Bones, Scroll and Key, Book and Snake... Alex learns that their deepest secrets are way worse than anyone might have imagined, but when a young woman is murdered, she realizes that she's only scratched the surface of the darkness at work in New Haven.

This book took forever for me to get into. I think the story is an interesting concept but found it a bit lackluster at times. I will be reading the 2nd because I found myself interested in Alex near the end, but it was a slow relationship to develop. Maybe that was on purpose given the characters background though? Glad I read it but wouldn’t rush to read it again.
