The main character was completely unlikable but I liked the ride of seeing what crazy thing she was going to do next. This book was also satire about social media and the publishing industry and I felt that I learned a lot about both since I'm not involved in either world. I liked this more than Babel, which is the only other one I had read by her.

Honestly, I’m not sure what is appealing about this book. I was bored and found it overall lackluster. I kept listening to see what others liked about it - but I never found that ah-ha moment in this book.

This book seems to be everywhere and I can’t figure out why. The characters are all shallow, none likable or enough to care about. The plot and writing are all amateurish. I couldn’t wait for it to end.

I don’t get the hype around this. I started it twice and couldn’t get into it at all. Even months apart. I was bored.
