Disclaimer 1: I only read this because it was on reading challenge list I have.
Disclaimer 2: I listened to this book

This story really did nothing for me, I found it hard to follow all the descriptive happenings and therefore wasn't as wholly invested as I might have been reading the physical book. I did like knowing how the ring came to be in Bilbo's possession, having watched the Lord of the Rings movies in the past, and how he used it on his journey, but that's about it. ...more
