Be careful if you make a deal with the Devil, he might literally give you what you ask for! The first time I checked this book out in April it just did not appeal to me, but it had so many rave reviews that I put it on hold again. 4.5 stars and so close to being bumped to a 5, but it got bogged down in the middle. Gorgeous writing, captivating story.
Surprisingly, could have used more character development but then, maybe that's the point: The details fade away to make space for our today. Not everything can be remembered. That said, I would have titled this one, "The Unforgettable Life of Addie LaRue." ...more
