This was a tough read for me. I really wanted to love this because I loved The Night Circus but it just didn’t do it for me. I loved her writing style just as I did in her previous novel and she carries that through here. The themes and ideas of the novel are intriguing as well but surprisingly I was kind of confused and/or bored through most of it. It also had a lot of abstract thoughts and ideas sprinkled throughout the novel which got frustrating and overwhelming for me because I was lost hal ...more
