An unexpected story, read for the asian author readathon for May 2020.

I was surprised by how invested I got into this book, which turned out to be a modest domestic drama set in a random American town. Two families become intertwined by their childrens' interactions and some local drama. The plot was rather simple and more focused on the familys' lives. I don't have much to say on this except the start of the book was really disorienting in the audio format and I felt lost and confused.

This story is bizarre and filled with unlikeable characters. No one tells the truth everyone is out to find skeletons in the closet and really it just doesn’t keep you hooked
