What Members Thought
Well, I don't plan too stay in a deserted or even a low-occupancy hotel anytime soon! I felt I should read the Shining since I hear so many references to the movie adaptation time and time again and curiosity finally got the best of me. I wasn't much of a fan for the first half of the book, but it got better and had me holding my breath during the horror/suspenseful parts. The concept is wicked and the story was interesting... Now I know what it means to "shine".
