What Members Thought
Perhaps I held high expectations, too high expectations, for this book. I first got hooked by all the hype raving for the movie, and despite I know, reading reviews, that the movie has a different storyline, I decided to "first read the book, then watch the movie".
I guess I just don't like Stephen king's writing style? The 217 woman spooked me a bit, but otherwise, I think the book was overrated.
How Danny was all helpless but suddenly so sure of himself by the end. Hmmm...

A revisit to my first ever SK book 32 years later. And still insane!
I’ve no idea how many times I’ve read this book. My fave from Uncle Stevie. This time I listened to the audiobook. I’ve come to the realization that each time I read it, I dislike Jack more and more earlier in the story. This time from just about the opening line. Doesn’t mean I like the story any less, just that my perspective seems to be changing the older I get.
