Martian

“I guess you could call it a "failure", but I prefer the term "learning experience.”

Finally! I got the chance to read Andy Weir’s bestselling classic (now turned into a movie) “The Martian” and now I am seriously kicking myself for not reading this book sooner! Who would have thought that I would be reading a science fiction novel that is full of adventure, drama and humor?

The book starts off with a space crew going on Mars to explore the red planet when suddenly, a dust storm shows up and t

So I started reading The Martian by Andy Weir on Monday 12/28 because I wanted to have a book finished at the start of the new year! Boo yah!!!! I did it.

I heard about the movie first and then found it was based from a book and had to read it. I mean first I have to say that Matt Damon is one of my all tie favorite actors. He can play anything from a smart ass genius in Good Will Hunting to an understanding father in We Own a Zoo! If you haven't seen either of those movies, then I suggest you r
