What Members Thought
The alternative universe created by author Robert Harris in "Fatherland", one in which Germany prevailed in WWII and Hitler is still in power and ruling much of Europe in 1964, is an interesting facet of this dynamite mystery/thriller but the best part is the intricate plot. Harris' writing is excellent and the characters, particularly Berlin detectives Xavier March and his counterpart Max Jaeger, are superbly drawn.
