Whew! Another wild ride from Ilona Andrews!
This book is action packed from start to finish. It’s urban fantasy that sweeps you up in the horror and excitement of it all. It’s violent and gory, and the world is really complex, but the constant sarcasm and banter between characters keeps it light enough to make it a fun, highly entertaining read.

Holy UST, Batman!
This book kicked the first's books butt. The plot is solid, the characters are more developed, and I was enthralled from the very first page. I LOVE Ilona's slow and steady revelations about Kate's heritage, she leads you to suspect the truth before she confirms it, avoiding any major info dumps, which in an alternate history series such as this is awfully hard to do!
And the very last paragraph? DUDE! That's all I'm going to say. When the heck does the next book come out? ...more
