This series has been on my tbr forever, and I’m so glad I finally dove in, because it was nothing like what I was expecting and I was pleasantly surprised! For some reason, I was thinking it was YA, but it’s definitely not! It’s brutal and gory with nasty language, nasty talk, and lots of violence! Of course, I loved it!

Re-read for the 3rd time and still an amazing book with a strong world building and fantastic heroine. I love Kate and am already binging the next one. Must read!

Magic Bites is the first book in the Kate Daniels series and I really enjoyed it.
The world Ilona Andrews created is explained in so much detail that you can really see it and live the story. Kate Daniels is a great heroine! Of course we again have a bad-ass heroine, but we also get to see her softer, more personal side. In any case, ...more

I struggled a little with this book, it took me a few tries to get through it. It's an interesting world, and I really like Kate. I do hope there is more romance in this series. .

Well I haven't read Ilona before, so far this series reminding me of the Anita Blake series by Laurell. I'm not sure what I'm going to think of this....I'll let you know when I do lol
