4.5 stars.. What a wonderful story about 2 sisters from a totally dysfunctional family. It's about secrets, tragedy and loss, abuse, alcohol, love and forgiveness. I think it's going to be a wonderful book club discussion. I really didn't like Josie much, but it was still a captivating story.

It opens when a woman sees her dead sister in the background of a world news broadcast. And it is an uplifting and comfortable story considering there is lots of dark things in their past. I don't understand ...more
