This book kept me on my toes! I love the element of unpredictability here, which is something I don't really see much in epic fantasies because most authors only seem to follow a certain set of rules and plot lines. I also love how Sanderson obviously gave the magic system a lot of thought because it really works out in every situation in the book, and is very consistent. Lord Ruler! This was one crazy ride. I haven't been this excited about a universe since Potter. But I have to say this, The Final Empire is such a cliffhanger, much like how HBP was one. It isn't over yet and I'm hooked. I guess the bigger question now is, where the hell do I get copies of all the books in the series?!
