I had the honor of reading this book early and I couldn't put it down. The premise is cute and heartwarming as can be, and the characters are real and wonderful and I found myself smiling the whole way through. Ellie and Hunter (I'm calling dibs on him now, by the way) had the best chemistry and watching them fight it was so much fun. Watching them give in was even better. I finished Falling for her Soldier by Ophelia London and I must say that I wasn't let down. This story has everything that makes a Bliss story bliss.

Anyway, Ellie Bell has given up being with men for a year and she's approaching the year mark when she meets Charlie Johannson. One of the most enthralling, sweeping, heartfelt romances I've read in a long time. Realistic and authentic, sexy and sweet. How cute was this book? I totally have a thing for books with anything dance, which I didn't realize this one was until I started reading. The heroine is a dance teacher! Paired with the soldier part of the title, and I was sold.

Falling For Her Soldier is one of those sweet, heartfelt romances that just warmed my heart. Ellie and Charlie/Hunter both have so much that has happened in their lives, yet something still pulls the two of them together.

I loved this book from the first page. The chemistry between Ellie and Hunter (Charlie) was sizzling. Ellie was on a ban of men for a year, nearing the end of the year when she meets Hunter at the SW. Hunter is a womanizer and Ellie's brother's best friend from the army. Ellie knows Hunter as Charlie from emails, where they connected, when her brother was injured. Can she believe that Hunter is that same person that she knew as Charlie. Loved the fun and the banter from these two.

Loved this story about a soldier and a ballerina! Lots of great chemistry and the dancing stuff was so swoony! I also loved that these characters got to know each other a bit through email before actually meeting--even if only one of them knew that. And anytime Michael Buble comes on the radio, I'll be thinking of this book and smiling. ...more

Now that’s what I am talking about!! A slow build up of a relationship, chemistry, pretty clean, and a hunky soldier to boot! It’s a perfect sweet read! I was sucked in from the beginning and I was done in no time. I can’t resist a good soldier story!I think I have another auto buy with Ophelia London.

Ellie has been corresponding with Staff Sergeant Charlie “Big Game Hunter” Johansson by email. They started emailing when Sam was seriously hurt while deployed. Hunter is Charlie’s nickname in the Now that’s what I am talking about!! A slow build up of a relationship, chemistry, pretty clean, and a hunky soldier to boot! It’s a perfect sweet read! Ellie has been corresponding with Staff Sergeant Charlie “Big Game Hunter” Johansson by email. They started emailing when Sam was seriously hurt while deployed. Hunter is Charlie’s nickname in the military. It had to do with his womanizing ways. But Charlie was with Sam when he was hurt and he has changed. He bears more of himself to Ellie in those emails than he has to anyone. But there is no way Sam would let Charlie anywhere near his sister, so he stops writing. He is at home right now and while hanging out with Sam at the Warrior Station (WS), a place not funded by the government where soldiers can go to heal and hang out, Ellie shows up to see Sam. Sam out of habit introduces Ellie to Charlie as Hunter. Sam doesn’t know about the emails and Ellie only knows Hunter by the womanizer stories Sam has told her. Ellie has no idea that he is Charlie, the guy she has feelings for.

So, what is Hunter to do? He cringes at the name of Hunter. He doesn’t want Ellie to know him like that. He doesn’t tell her right away who he is. Then Sam finds out and pretty much tells Charlie to stay away from Ellie and not to tell her. Hunter tries to abide by Sam’s wishes, but he just can’t seem to stay away from her. Hunter even volunteers to help out at the WS just to hang out with Ellie who has also volunteered.

Ellie, who has heard all the stories of Hunter, wants to stay away from him after all the stories she heard and that she is on a self imposed ban of men for 365 days. This ban is because she always picks the wrong guys and gets hurt. You know- cheaters and liars. She is at the end of the year with twenty some days to go. But the more time she spends with Hunter, the more she is confused. She feels like she is cheating on Charlie and she starts to see Hunter as a great guy.

But as time goes on and they get closer, it becomes harder to tell her the truth and Hunter feels more guilty. So you know when she finds out, things will not go well.

This story has family, it honors the military men and woman who serve this country, lots of chemistry, dancing, a soldier doing the tango and some Dirty Dancing, tons of little girls in tutus, a restored hot car, did I mention chemistry?, some sweetness and a whole lot of sexy.
