Bella and Edward, are the two most unlikely people you could think would fall in love. Edward Belongs to the Cullen famaily, who are all vampires who had been brought together through certain cirumstances. But Bella has just recently moved from her mothers home in Arizona to live with her father in the town of Forks, Washington. She soon learnd of Edwards nature, but despite all attempts by Edward to scare Bella away, he give This book is all about a highschool romance with the twist of vampires!

But all goes wrong, while Bella is watching her new vampilre family friends play "Vampire Baseball" in the middle of a thunderstorm. 3 vampires from a coven come and want to play "Baseball" with them, but when Bella's hair is moved by a breeze, one of the coven vampires catches her irresistable scent, and, because Edward has the ability to read minds, he sees that this vampire, James is a hunter who will now stop at nothing to hunt Bella down and kill her.
So with the help of the vampire family, Bella must escape and evade James, but through one of the Cullens, Alice, who has a precognative ability, Bella quickly learns that the only way to stop the hunter from getting to the Cullens and Edward, as to give herself up, lest she get one of them harmed. But when Bella Is bitten by James, Edward soon realises that the only way to save her is to suck Bella's blood himself, to rid her body of the venom. So Edward overcomes all his fears, and sucks the venom from Bella stopping her from turning into a vampire herself, even though he knows that Bella want's to so that she can be with Edward forever.
What will happen?, the only way to find out is to read the other two which i am waiting to be delivered right now.
But I sooo reccomened to anyone that they read the Twilight series, which concludes with "Breaking Dawn", which is the fourth and final book of the series, which is out in August 2008. ...more

omg this is the bestestestestest best book in THE WORLD i looooooooooooooooooooooooooove stephanie meyer and i hate that this awesome seris has to end =( but i loved these books! vampires never meant anything to me until now im kinda wishing edward was real and that i was bella
i wish all my fictional characters were real =)and i dont think i will get over this obsession ever!

I started reading this on Sunday, May 25. I was sleep deprived and still made it to work on time, continued my workouts at the gym, got my 6-year old to school, and finished devouring this book at 12:01 AM last night, May 28. Remember this date: 12/8/08..the movie opens ;)

this was a good book, recomended to me by just about everyone i know. it was pretty good, i really enjoyed the plot. the writing was lacking... but the story line made up for that. it is quite a passionate book.
