What Members Thought
It's been ages since I read this story, but getting back to this series again is a great idea. This is such a wonderful book and I really liked the blend of psychic talents and the science that helped create them. Of course once the military is involved everything goes to hell in a hand basket. Someone's going to try to use this as a weapon to sell.

I loved the premise of the story with its paranormal elements, as well as Ms Feehan's writing style and the humour. However, I didn't like insta-love between Lily and Ryland and found it difficult to connect with the characters. Also, the pacing was a bit slow in places. ...more

This was just okay. I'm glad this wasn't the first book by her, or I would never have read her Carpathian series.
There was something missing, but I will continue the series because the overall plot line is pretty interesting.
