I am falling deeply for this series. I love the story of a girl, obsessed with books, learning that maids need not be treated as servants, that women can have thoughts and voices of their own, and more. The tragic character of Jem is inspired, as are the other members of the "family". And while Will's storyline often soars, it is never to the detriment of the other characters. They all intertwine beautifully.

love Love LOVE this series so far! I actually like this one more than mortal instruments if that makes sense? The love triangle is awesome, the story was detailed and believable. The characters in the story were also unique, they weren't just carbon copies of personalities from her other storyline. ...more

4.5 stars. Interesting characters, sassy dialogue, romance and a few good twists made this an extremely enjoyable read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of the Infernal Devices. Jem and Will are amazing characters and Tessa really has her work cut out for her choosing between the two men in her life. The main storyline is exciting in itself...Benedict Lightwood challenges Charlotte's management of the Institute and the Council tasks Charlotte with finding the missing mage, Mortmain.
