I enjoy the world that has been built here.

Elena is a very enjoyable female main character. I like her and Raphael a lot.

I am ready to get deeper into the side characters and their stories. I am really looking forward to reading Demetri, Venom and Ilium's stories. ...more

I love a good mystery and a good villain. The villain is the best character in the book in my opinion. If the story were mostly about the mystery, I probably would have rated it higher. I think one of the things that bothered me most about the book was the relationship between Raphael and Elena. Most of the time, they called each other by Consort and Archangel instead of their names. For two people that are supposed to be lovers and soul mates, this was difficult for me to hear. Elena and Raphael are back in New York and are trying to settle into what their life will look like with Elena still maintaining her Guild Hunter duties.
