I enjoyed how strong Ellie was and how she held her own among the angels. Her past was so traumatic I'm surprised she is as well adjusted as she is. I really felt Raphael's love for her, even though he wasn't always the best at expressing it. ...more

This is my first Nalini Singh novel and I have to say that I really really liked it. It is the 2nd in a series, so now I have to go back and read the first. Best description of immortals I have ever read. You get such a sense of their otherworldiness. Great love story, great storyline. Can't wait to read more by her. ...more
