Home, sweet home. Another read (and a multiple reread) from the young old me. A multifold lovely story with so much folded into just one book.

I read it a long time ago (in my teens) so I plan to do a reread this year. I can't wait.

This is something I never read in school, so because it is a classic I am glad I finally read it. However, I had to keep reminding myself that it was first published in 1890 because of the infuriating beliefs of the men in the story. I might have even thrown my book against the wall at one point after page upon page of men spouting nonsense about male superiority.
