I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for an honest review. Rose Frost is going to live with her grandmother. Her parents are going on a job mission and they feel she would be safest there. Rose doesn't mind because she has some old childhood friends there. The story started out a little slow, as many series do but midway through, the story and characters really began to come alive for me. As relationships developed and incidents began to occur, I got sucked in to the story and had a hard time putting it down. This book has a great plot with an original concept. It's sprinkled with suspense, romance, anger, frustration and confusion. I did feel at times it was hard to connect words and emotions, especially anger. There were times I didn't understan ...more
