I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I got. I enjoyed this, and weirdly, one of the stories within a story (within a story, really) has stuck with me and pops up in my mind from time to time.

Assim como milhões de pessoas hoje, cresci com as imagens dos contos de fadas dos desenhos animados de Walt Disney. I'm a lover of myths and folklore so I really enjoyed the stories and Obreht in my opinion tells good stories but over all the book seems to lack a plot and the ending was nothing special.
