Simple, beachy kinda read. Read this in a few hours. Best thing about it is that Anna is smart and witty and a likeable heroine.
At first I kind of liked this book. It reminded me of Rainbow Rowell, who's YA novels I love, with its intense focus on character and vertical development.
But then the middle struck, she realized she loved the boy, and I hated everything. Anna turns into this monstrous, dramatic, teary character with her life completely hinged about the whims of a confused boy. I feel like St. Clair is kind of the male version of a manic pixie dream girl, and I'm really over that YA trend. ...more

Yet another YA I-hate-my-parents-and-I-have-this-huge-crush-on-this-boy-with-gorgeous-hair kinda book, with nothing great to write home about, no not even the love-making or love-anticipation-scenes in terms of plot and story, except for its detailed description of some Parisian spots in all seasons. I'd give this book a 2.5 stars had it not been for this alone.
Pick up this book only when you want to break all that serious reading with something else. Thats all.

Awwwww this is pretty cute book :) Don't let the unimaginative title turn you off, because this is a good kind of silly book. Perfect for teenagers on their summer break.

The descriptions of Paris were quite arresting but nothing more than that to sustain my interest
