Wow! That is my response to the book.

My latest theory;

I have been try to think of a suspect that would make scenes that is not obvious like Ethan.
My idea is Mrs. Mercer. Her first name is Kristin so their might have been a file that Emma did not notice in the file cabinet after she found Becky's. after all she had to frantically book the folder back when the nurse arrived.

Cross My Heart, Hope To Die is the fifth book in the Lying Game series. This series is absolutely amazing, this one did not disappoint! It has all been leading to this... who is Sutton's Murder? We will find out in the last installment of the Lying Game series coming out in July. I seriously can not wait, I know it will be someone you least expect. I have my suspensions but who knows with this series. My suspensions...
Now that Rebecca has been taken off the suspected list, I can't help think that it is Ethan. Nisha tried calling Sutton about something that could have gotten her killed. I have a feeling that Ethan did not tell the whole truth about his past, maybe Nisha found something in those records that linked Ethan to being unstable or maybe he has killed someone before.. Ethan shows up late to Emma's family dinner because of his mother... what if that was a cover story. What if Ethan killed Nisha to save his own back? Then there is the whole jealousy thing, maybe he wanted to kill Sutton after the scholarship prank and Sutton/Thayer relationship.. He did call her a whore and a back-stabbing bitch who hasn't changed... I certainly hope it is not Ethan. But at the moment that is the only person that makes sense to have killed Sutton. But then again, maybe Shepard wants us to think this..

I would say Thayer also to be on this list but after reading the first lie novella, there is no way he could have killed Sutton. He was madly in love with her and you would know that if you read the short story. It is almost impossible to be Thayer and he was also rushed to hospital with Laurel..

Only other person I can think of is Garrett. For hurting him, for hurting his new 'girlfriend', Celeste as a prank. That also would tie in with Nisha since Garett did take her as pay back. But is that enough to murder Sutton/Nisha? I don't think so..

Mr Vega - Violent, is still possible.

Mr Chamberlain - He appeared at the start of the series suspicious and we didn't hear from him again... Could be the father of the twins, wanted them out of their lives so no one would find out.. Possible.

Time will tell. Can't wait for July, ahhh only 2 months way! :D ...more

Sara Shephard has done it again - setting us on another lead to find the killer. Thought this was not as intense as the 4th book, but this was still as amazing, and seriously opened up more questions with the shocking ending.. the next book cant come soon enough.
