Some books are impossible to rate.
This book took the joy out of me. It was like a dementor sucking all the happiness and hope from life. I don’t think I fully understood what this book meant and what was the motive of characters. Everything was sharp and drastic - the weather, the emotions, the passages of descriptions from people to buildings.

Much darker of a story than I expected, but beautifully written. I was expecting something more like Jane Eyre and found a novel more like Frankenstein. The characters were extremely well developed with a lot of pathos all around. I kept hoping for some change to come.
