To start off: Evelyn is a true bisexual legend!
This book deserved every ounce of the hype I've seen for it. This honestly didn't feel like a made-up story with fictional characters. Evelyn felt so real! I felt so connected to her and the tumultuous life she lived. I loved the ups. I wish I could capture the happiness of Evelyn, Celia, Harry, and John when Connor was just a baby and save it. I cried at the downs (but no spoilers!)

I am not ashamed to say that this book made me cry. As in ugly, whimpering, and pretty-much-bawling-my-eyes-out-thank-god-no-one-was-home type of crying. This book has made me feel things I have never felt before.

I've always tried to see people not like a white or black categorization but more in the gray range, but in all honesty, there are some things that my SJW self just doesn't let go of so easily, and that includes pretty much everything Evelyn has done.
