Whilst this is intended to be read after Cinder, I think it's actually better placed after Scarlet. The story is largely about Wolf - a character we meet in Scarlet. He's quite a complex character and I think this insight into the experiments Queen Levana might have done to him and others like him are easier to appreciate once you know his character better.

Ze'ev Kesley AKA Wolf's story. A short story that gave us a brief background on him and their training to be the Queens Army, it also proves how Wolf has always been a good guy forced to fight for the wrong side. Wish we also had insight on what Levana thought of him on that last chapter. Nonetheless, it was a good story.

Short but a good read, gives good background info on Wolf's past and how he became the alpha. Loved it!
