I rarely read a book and then rate it one star, it is just that there is no rating lower. I only read this all the way through because a dear friend wanted my "take" on the ending. I admit i did the "evelyn wood" thing through the middle and all of the trial. This was torture. I had read a couple of Picoult's books in the past and remember liking the moral question/challenges. Very, very compelling. I loved that she made no attempt to explain what had happened to Faith but let it end n a mystery. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
This book really pushes the envelope on several different areas. The idea of God in the female form. A child having religious visions. A small girl performing miracles. The ability to heal & be healed ... All neatly wrapped up in this gift of a book ... It's worth reading, thinking about & talking about.
