A great book. The characters were well-defined - I came to know their moods, expressions, their thoughts and postures. The story revolved around one main character but the secondary characters were just as fleshed-out as the primary. Not only were there so many well-written passages that I read and re-read, but the story line, while appearing to be simple enough, became more complex as the book progressed. In fact, I would have given this one five stars if it weren't for the last six pages. Oh,
