I read Matt's blog well before I read the book - in fact, I hadn't read it in a while and didn't realize the actual book was out until I happened to walk by it in my library.
This is a remarkable book mostly because Matt is so willing to be vulnerable and explain what his loss really feels like. I cannot believe the number of reviews that complain about language.
