I'm even less likely to read a celebrity bio than I am to read a how-I-recovered-from-being-an-addict book so I only read this at the urging of a friend whose opinion I respect and I'm glad I did. First of all, it's very, very, funny --- even in places where it seems like it shouldn't be. Secondly, it's very well written with intelligence and depth.
