This book was a hoot and a holler! I think it's my favorite of all of Cruise's works and that's saying a lot as I've never been disappointed by any of her books. Absolutely loved the wacky cast of characters, especially Agnes and the Hitman. I loved the South Carolina setting in the slightly dilapidated southern mansion and the entire wedding set-up provided endless entertainment. A little to scatterbrained for my taste, Agnes is moderately amusing and sands by her principles.

This was sweet and slightly funny. I like the characters and I particularly like the crazy, mean-as-a-snake and frankly psycho Brenda. Nothing like a really bad baddie!

As usual there was nothing in the book that made me cringe and I really enjoyed reading about the food!
