What Members Thought
What do you write about when you are up to number 12 in a series? Introduce more characters with increasingly bizarre personalities and abilities. I'm going against the trend here, and saying that this was fun. Sit in a patch of sun, allow brain to free-wheel and go with the fantasy. Yet another Sookie tale, full of supernaturals with human vices getting into complicated situations in small town USA, and our friendly telepathic waitress with great connections, fond of her family and friends but

I've heard she plans to end the series with the next book. She ties up a lot of loose ends, but still leaves enough open that she could go on if she so wishes. The ending is more than good, but not earth shattering. I hope to see these books continue, but sometimes good things must come to an end. That would be better than writing drek just because the author is contracted to write more books when in her heart, she is done with the story. More please, but only if it's up to snuff.

I loved this book, it kept a straight good story, Sookie really rocked. She didn't take any crap, didn't feel guilty for doing anything she had to do, and told off her arrogant husband. :)

Very little vampire sex, wrapped up a bunch of loose plotlines, not terrible at all!
