I loved book 1 in this series so much that I immediately downloaded this book from Overdrive. I rarely binge on a series, and when I do, I'm reminded of why I don't.
This had all of the annoying features of the first book, but it lost all of the freshness that I loved. It was funny sometimes, but rarely laugh-out-loud funny.
The mystery sure captured my attention, though. I figured out a few things, the big twist, but not who murdered Valerie Simpson.
And Haha Ivana Trump has a cameo! Sure do miss ...more

A crime/mystery series with an ex-basketball star turned sports agent protagonist - Myron Bolitar. Hmm... It's a bit different. Not sure I'm sports crazed enough to truly appreciate this series.
