Closely related and just as good as The Lost City of the Monkey God, though this is fiction and the Monkey god is nonfiction. In this one three sons are sent on a chase to find their father in Central America before they can claim their inheritance of their father's dubious fortune. ...more

Maxwell Broadbent leaves his three sons a videotape telling them he has removed his great store of artworks, worth approximately 100 million dollars, and buried the treasure and himself in a tomb somewhere in the world. The sons set off sperately to find the treasure and quickly all realize it is in Peru and that the treasure contains a priceless Mayan codex with thousands of medicinal plants recorded in it. A decent thriller that took a little while to get going.
