Maxwell Broadbent leaves his three sons a videotape telling them he has removed his great store of artworks, worth approximately 100 million dollars, and buried the treasure and himself in a tomb somewhere in the world. The sons set off sperately to find the treasure and quickly all realize it is in Peru and that the treasure contains a priceless Mayan codex with thousands of medicinal plants recorded in it. A decent thriller that took a little while to get going.

A good romp through the jungle and my first virtual travel to Honduras. It has interesting commentary on colonialism and white savior complex. It's the fast pace of a Preston that I'm used to but not as nailbiting as the Relic series.
