Holy cow, this book was disturbing, messed with my head, and was impossible to put down!
Psychological, military, and political thriller with a bit of a coming-to-age mixed in with a disturbing prescience at what society was going to look like with advancing computer technology and the military industrial complex.
It is like the author in the 1980s was able to accurately predict video game training for military/police/children to make humans better killers, technology like drones to kill people ...more

I am not an O.S.C fan, but I was quite impressed with this book. I think it was improved upon by the cast who read this book. It was fun, fast paced, and hard to put down.
I definitely would recommend this book to my friends and fellow readers. It does have language and a few rough scenes - so not for young kids.

NOTE: This review is for the audiobook version of this novel.
A compelling, innovative story from beginning to end. I found it enthralling and I couldn't wait for more. I spent the better part of a work day listening to this (while still working, thank you very much) and now that it is done I look forward to continuing my audiobook adventure!

If you dig scifi, you will love this book. Great story. Interesting characters. However, I give it a "PG-13" rating for violence and language.
