I read Joe Hill's first book, Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill , and I thought that it wasn't bad for a freshman effort. However, I felt that the writing was a bit amateurish. Horns by Joe Hill is Hill's latest novel, and wow, I can't believe how much Hill's writing has improved. Plus, his storytelling has become much better as well.

Awesome amazing wiriter....read everything he's ever written as fast as possible. The jury is still out on whether he is a pseudonym for Steven King's son, but it doesn't matter. He's brilliant no matter who he is. He even makes sly references to his own work. Modern Horror at its most horrific. Christopher Golden loves him, and he's brilliant too, so its all good. ...more

He did it again! Great read! Wake up one morning and your growing horns? Everyone tells you what they really feel like and ask you if it is alright if they act on it? Touch someone and you know their deepest secrets!
This book is unique and certainly held my interest give it a try.

This was an interesting read.
It might be a bit rough to read for some of my friends, but I found it fascinating.
Hill, may not be the best writer out there, and he appears to be as dark as his father, but some of the concepts were thought-provoking, even though I don't subscribe to his beliefs.
