What a beautiful, heartbreaking book it is :((

I am not a fan of science fiction, but this book is more about humans and humanity instead of fantasy and futuristic theme. I love Charlie Gordon and Algernon and rooted for them throughout the book, even though I know that things will be very sad indeed...

This short story should be required reading for everyone to be empathetic towards animals who are tested for science.
