Stephanie is trying to bring in Eddie DeChooch who missed his court date for cigarette smuggling. Even though DeChooch is well into his senior years he still manages to continue eluding Stephanie. Meanwhile Stephanie has to deal with whether or not she is engaged to Morelli and the fact that her perfect sister Valerie has returned home with her two kids. Another lighthearted entry in the series complete with car crashes and visits to Stivas.

I love the way fun and fear are balanced by Evanovich. One chapter I'm freaking out, and the next I'm laughing out loud. ...more
