Gahh, swoon! Mixed tapes of 80s music and big white girls falling in love with boys of Asian descent?! Hello, my life. I usually flee in horror from any book that could be called a "romance," but the time period and the protagonists (as well as this book's inclusion on the list of best books of 2013 for young adults) convinced me to give it a go. I really enjoyed how the family lives of both kids added so much to who they are as characters. And now I need to know what happens next even though I

Ha! Actually it's 3,5 stars (when is Goodreads going to add the half stars in its system???). Anyway. I love: the 80s setting, all the music and stuff (although besides music and walkman, I guess there's nothing much about the 80s in this book), the characters (eleanor is quite ok and park- although a little bit too hopelessly romantic for my taste - is kinda cute), and the feeling I had when reading this book (reminiscing about the past, uh huh).

I devoured this book. Five stars aren't enough. I could give it seven. I loved Park and my heart broke for Eleanor on every page. The teenage girl in me loved their love story, but what really made this book sing for me was Eleanor and her siblings. I loved it so much.

I really enjoyed this book. I think it's sweet and it captures the life and angst of teens well. However, I can't say I totally understand the hype that surrounds this book. I think it's great but I don't understand why it's got the amount of attention it did.

This book was really good. I loved Attachments, and this book, although very different, was also pretty amazing. I cannot wait to read anything else Rainbow Rowell writes!

this book cheered me up. It masked abuse with humour and even packed in a bit of suspense (where you don't expect it). I love how easy it is to read it, with eleanor's and park's life presented in alternate short segments. I just want to reach the end of the book. I can't stop.
