Jack is an unemployed computer programmer turned stay at home dad. His wife Julia is working on a project to use a swarm of nanobots as a camera that could be used during medical procedures. Julia has started acting odd and when Jack is hired to help out her company he discovers why. Most of the book had me on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen next. My only problem with the book is that the beginning setup was too long and not very exciting

Crichton really gets the science behind the story correct and delivers an all too realistic scary tale with this one.

A book about nanotechnology - one of my favorite topics. Much potential as a science fiction topic, but this book is an unimaginative attempt. But it was still a fun read.
