click here.I like this story, I hated the ending - Veronica finds herself in the most depressing situation. She's about to be homeless, and is weighed down with about 200,000 worth of personal debt. A handsome man from Montana propositions her, gives her the opportunity to get away from everything and live and work on his ranch. She's considering the proposition when he decides he doesn't need her consent and kidnaps her. He is of course looking for a slave, for his use and the ranch hands also. All the good and bad that come after mean nothing, as she never gave her consent, is never treated like the person she is. It's interesting and well written, but especially sad because V gives up and becomes a mindless drone...more
